Nelson has over 30 years' experience in the financial services industry. Nelson holds the Canadian Investment Funds, Canadian Securities Course, Insurance Broker through the Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO), and Branch Manager designations. He is a member of ADVOCIS, is currently working on his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.

With his superior analytical skills, and dedication to client service, Nelson focuses on identifying clients' retirement, investment and estate planning objectives, formulating retirement income projections and determining the most suitable financial and insurance products to suit their needs.

Nelson is fluent in Portuguese as he grew up in a Portuguese community and studied in a Portuguese school. He is married and has 4 children.

He enjoys cars, backcountry camping, skiing, hockey, soccer and working around the house, and is a volunteer for the Canadian Ski Patrol.
